Sad News By Jacqueline Whitmore A couple of weeks ago my heart broke in two.💔 Cooper, my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, passed away suddenly on a Tuesday afternoon. He was just nine years old.I miss him terribly.😢It’s my belief that animals come into our lives for a reason and a season. Cooper gave me comfort, companionship, and most of all, unconditional love during the most difficult and devastating years of my life. He was also there when I found joy and love again. All dogs are special; however, Cooper was extra special to me because he was a mama’s boy. He never let me out of his sight. He was my loyal companion and fur baby.My heart is bigger and my love is stronger as a result of having him in my life.I appreciate everyone who sent cards, texts, phone calls, and DMs to me. Your support and concern mean so much. Pets are members of our family. So whenever someone’s beloved pet dies, it can hit them hard and hurt them tremendously. Many people don’t know what to say to a grieving person, so they say nothing at all. When you kindly acknowledge a person’s loss, it shows that you care. 💛When in doubt, don’t hesitate to extend your condolences by saying something simple like, “I’m so sorry for your loss.”Nothing more needs to be said.
